It was the dads-and-kids annual overnighter at Igelsee the weekend just gone. Jack, Claire and Lucy went up in the cable car and made their own way to the usual camping spot this time, while the dads and Belka hiked up. I was quite concerned about them because it was really very hot all weekend. I could hardly bear to be outside and spent the afternoons knitting and watching stages 1 and 2 of the Tour de France. The cyclists, too, were having trouble in the heat.
Nevertheless, Lucy, Mike and Belka arrived home hot but happy yesterday and with some lovely photos of the trip.
