For the people in and around Munich, winter doesn't seem to have properly happened in 2015/16. There has been little snow and the temperature hasn't got particularly low at any point. So when we sent photos of our holiday last week to our friends via smartphone, they reacted with envy. We had a winter paradise to enjoy.
Our holiday was spent thus: Lucy was able to demonstrate how brilliantly she can ski now. Belka experienced cross-country skiing for the first time. Steph spent all week knitting a sweater only to discover that it was far too small. You can't have it all, I suppose!
