It hasn't been only a rainy Sunday, it's been a rainy month. Really rainy. So rainy, in fact, that we are losing hope of summer coming at all. At least there's the European Cup matches to keep us distracted from the grey outdoors.

Yesterday, Mike took Belka to Plansee for a hike. We've had some fun camping trips there, but hadn't been in the area for a while, even though it really isn't that far away (90 minutes' drive). When Mike was reminded of what a lovely colour the water is, we said we must go again soon with Lucy.

Today we took Belka out twice. In the afternoon, we walked to a nearby pond that we've been visiting regularly this month. We've been keeping an eye on the tadpoles, and many of them have metamorphosed since last week and have ventured out of the pond. It looked like the ground was moving, but on looking closer, we could see all these liquorice-like froglets. They are so sweet!
