Well it's not only Harry & Meghan who are proud parents. Also the geese and moorhens at our village pond have been presenting their offspring, who hatched last weekend. Within a day the littl'uns had already learned to walk, swim and feed themselves, so hopefully most of them will survive. The mallards don't have any ducklings this year, but seem happy with each other's company. And there are great tits nesting in our neighbour's bird box, so maybe we'll see some more chicks before long.
