The lovely autumn weather continues, so I decided to treat Belka to another night out in our new "Snugpack" bivvy bag. This time we hiked up Hirschberg (deer mountain) in the dark and slept directly under the summit cross, looking up at the Milky Way and thousands of other stars. We were treated to a beautiful sunrise (and a lie-in thanks to summer time ending), and were back at the car by the time most of the crowds started arriving to start their hikes.
