Pancake Tuesday is the day when people in Munich celebrate carnival time. Every two years there's a carnival procession from Krailling to Planegg, but it takes place the previous Sunday. The floats are relatively small, but this year there were around 40 of them. And they were loud! The streets were lined with locals (and dogs) in costumes and/or makeup, ready to catch the thousands of sweets that get thrown from the floats. It was a lot of fun.
