New Year's Eve was a bit quiet in our house on account of Mike getting a really bad cold and a temperature. So he was in bed by 7 pm and Lucy was asleep anyway. I spent the evening - which we'd planned to spend at the Pages' in Kaltenberg - alone in front of the telly!
We've added another four locations to our skating outings this winter. I finally managed to skate backwards today, and Mike and Lucy tried curling and enjoyed it a lot. It's a very popular sport around these parts and when the temperatures are as low as they have been, there are plenty of opportunities to play.
It's taken ages to upload this mini-video. Don't think we'll do that again: far too time consuming. Well, we're back at work and back at school, and the weeks will progress with their usual routine until the half-term holidays at the end of February. In the meantime we'll skate and skate and skate.
