Some time ago, Mike suggested a back-country camping weekend to a few of our friends. They thought it was a great idea, though I wasn't keen on not having a proper loo in the vicinity. Anyway, it was more out of a need to do absolutely nothing for two days that made me send Mike and Lucy off to the mountains without me.
And what fun they had! So, I was taking it easy, indoors because of the wind, rain, hailstones, thunder and lightning and general cold that descended upon Munich that weekend. And Mike and Lucy plus friends were having a great time, in glorious sunshine, chasing cows and sitting round a campfire at Igelsee, in Ehrwald. Ho hum!
But I still had a relaxing time, watching first England, then - even worse - the hosts Germany, drop out of the Women's World Cup :-(
