In actual fact, Mike's head was above the clouds on this particular occasion. He had got up very early to dash down to the mountains and climb the Hohe Kiste before shimmying down again and arriving back in Krailling in time for lunch. I really don't know how he does it, but perhaps his new trekking shoes are turbo boosted.
We all took to different heights on Sunday and spent the afternoon with friends at a high ropes course. Lucy proved to be a natural and so did Mike: a natural joker, that is. He amused the kids by acting the goat as he tackled the obstacles. He's very good at that!
One thing that I insisted we do, because we hadn't done it for years, was walk through a pumpkin field together and take some photos. You can't get more orangey than this!
