The Christmas markets have already started, but weather-wise we are still waiting for winter.
Lucy is yearning for snow, but Mike has been taking advantage of the prolongation of autumn to do some more hikes. On November 20th he hiked 2000m up the Alpspitze to get the views shown in the pictures - north over Garmisch-Partenkichen towards Munich, and south-east to the Grossvenediger, well over 100km away. And while we
haven't seen any snow at home yet, he found some lovely ice crystals covering the valley floor in the mountains.
