The pub at Maising lake doesn't offer its full catering service until 31 March, so today they were offering chips, chips, chips and chips. Oh, and sausage. I'm exaggerating, of course, but even so, we ate a lot of chips, and enjoyed them.
I've a slightly sunburnt neck after our little walk today. Thingummy and Wotsit also had a sunbathe yesterday, and I hope it didn't do them any harm. They seemed to really enjoy stretching out and soaking up the sun's rays. Just like our garden: the flowers and plants are pushing up through the earth as I type. It's the best season of the year.
