Far from boar-ed
Today, the sun is out, the sky is blue, and all the snow has gone from the garden. Up in the mountains, however, there is still lots and lots of the white stuff around, making it perfect for ski-touring. As you can see, Mike has used the opportunity to get plenty of exercise at a higher altitude than Franzstr.
Since Lucy isn't (yet) into ski-touring, her outings with Daddy tend to be on lower ground, like this walk into the forest to see if there were any wild boar about. Lo and behold, there they were snuffling around for food.
Thingummy and Wotsit are now out of hibernation and swimming in water of just 15°C. It's important to get them slowly accustomed to the change from the total darkness and low temperatures that they've been resting in for the last three months. Next month they will be allowed to come up into their regular aquarium where it will be warmer still and brighter. Hopefully it'll be like that outdoors too, for our sake!
