Mike and his mates Pete and Alan take it in turns to organize their boys' nights out. Normally, it consists of meeting up at a pub somewhere in the city and having a few beers, whilst they boast to each other about their newest hiking/skiing/camping equipment. Mike's latest purchase is, incidentally, a ski-touring rucksack that contains an airbag.
Last Saturday, it was Mike's turn to organize the night out, so what did he do? You guessed it: he suggested they share a hip flask of schnaps on top of a snowy mountain. All night. Pete and Alan are always on for silly ideas like that, so here are photos of them - before and after a cold night on the Simetsberg.
Lucy and I are always happy for Mike when he can get out into the hills and spend a night up there if the weather allows. Unfortunately, the fresh air makes him relatively tired, so that once he's back home all we get out of him is the odd snore or snuffle because he's crashed out on the settee.
