This week has been a "Belka week". We've registered her with the local council and are now paying doggie tax. She's fully insured in case she does something naughty, and she's been to the vet to get a good looking over. Being in a house with slippy floors and odd things like staircases and a kitchen has clearly been causing her a bit of confusion, but a week after first getting her we seem to be making good progress. She is fitting in well and proving to be a wonderful animal and companion.
We let her off the lead for the first time today when she was enticed into play by two other (smaller) dogs. Her behaviour is exemplary and we hope it will continue this way. She's a sociable little thing, once she's sussed out who she's dealing with. In short: we're impressed!
