| Learning to surf |
I've just got back from a week's holiday in northwest Scotland with my brother Richard. We spent four days hiking in the wonderful hills of Assynt, and had a day's hike in Torridon on our way back down south. The weather was typically Scottish, sometimes including sunshine, rain, hail, gales and back to calm sunshine again within a couple of hours. But the views were spectacular, and we were mostly all alone in the wilderness, sometimes seeing more wildlife than people. I couldn't resist photographing the duckling which was learning to surf at the beach with its brothers and sisters.
