| "Slow" |
Here are just a few pictures from our Christmas activities. We were all very creative in the pre-Christmas period: I made a spiral out of salt dough onto which Mike placed the tiny pebbles that were in his advent calendar; Mike had saved some especially pretty or unusual stones and made a boxed picture for me; and Lucy built a little mountain shelf for Mike's pig collection to live in.
On Boxing Day we went on a relatively short hike with Belka and a couple of friends to a chalet-style restaurant above Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The weather was lovely and provided us with spectacular views.
Our family Christmas event was an acrobatic show at a theatre in the city, complete with a two-course dinner and bottle of wine. It was a mixture of breath-taking, amusing and highly entertaining acts, but it was anything but "slow", the name of the show itself. In fact, it got rather frantic at times!
