We had a visit from Jane, Pete, Nicky and Tom last week. Guess who profited from all of the attention! It's been rather quiet in comparison this week, as you can imagine. That was also brought on by Lucy's middle ear infection, though she's picking up now. September has so far brought us lots of sun and warm temperatures, but there is already the smell of autumn in the early morning and evening air. And yes, it's nearly Oktoberfest time!
Thingummy and Wotsit are indoors now, back in their terrapinarium. I'm taking them to the vet's tomorrow to get them checked out.
School starts next Tuesday - Lucy's second year and therefore this blog's first birthday! That needs to be celebrated I think.
