Lucy woke at 7.20 on Christmas morning and was very good about asking if she could do this, or was it ok if she did that. She bounced on Uncle Ed and forced him to come and open his stocking (Chris too) which Santa had filled with silly gifts. It was quite a giggle. Thingummy and Wotsit were not left out: they received a Can O' Worms and some turtle bone.
As the day progressed, Lucy became livelier, especially when we got to Hugh and Margret's and she had Patrick to play with.
After eating a Christmas dinner prepared kindly for us by Hugh, and "airing" the kids afterwards at a local playground, we came home to watch the second half of Hitchcock's "The Birds" and chill out.
