| Krailling Christmas Market |
For a month or so now, I've been playing Nanny on Mondays to Max, the neighbours' Jack Russell. We go for two walks, he does his business twice, and I basically get out of the house and take in some fresh air. It's great - except when it rains. Thank goodness for Goretex and wellington boots.
Max is obssessed with our terrapins. He can spend hours just watching them and being frustrated that he can't actually touch them. Thingummy and Wotsit are now in hibernation, though, so Max will have to find something else to distract him next time he comes to our house. He caught sight of his usual contingent of chamois, enjoying the unseasonally warm temperatures.
The local Christmas markets are doing their weekend stints, so we ventured out in the drizzle yesterday for our first Glühwein of the winter. Incidentally, the coat Mike is wearing in the photo is one he hasn't had on in a very long time. It was so long in fact, that when he delved into his pockets, he found some teeny weeny gloves of Lucy's...
