Sunny weather

Fathers' Day
Views of the peaks
Last Thursday (25 May) was a public holiday - Ascension Day - and also Fathers' Day in Germany. The sun shone and we enjoyed a relaxing, family day around Krailling. Lucy took the photos of Mike, Belka and me on our family dog-walk around the gravel pits in the local woods and later on having afternoon tea in our front garden. Since then it has got even hotter, up to 29°C, so the front garden seats have been too hot to sit on.
Yesterday Mike got up before sunrise to see if he could spot the badger again, but it wasn't to be. His hike afterwards was much more successful, though. While I was out cycling, he was texting me from one peak after another and my mobile kept emitting ping-ping sounds from my pocket at regular intervals: Vorderer Rappenkopf, Brunnberg, Am Zahn and finally the Sonnenberg - sun mountain, how apt.
